This is an organic producer in the southern part of Sicily in the province of Ragusa. The vineyards are fully mature Nero d'Avola and trained bush vine-style: naturally low-yielding, producing concentrated fruit. The fruit is bright, tinged with red berries, scorched earth, and Mediterranean herbs. This is a concentrated wine, but not at all heavy.
